DMCA & Copyright Policy
ssstktok respects the intellectual property of creators and rights holders. This page explains how our tool works and how to ask us to block access to content you own.
1. We do not host or store videos
ssstktok is a browser-based technical utility. When a visitor pastes a public TikTok link, the file is streamed directly from TikTok's own content delivery network (CDN) to that visitor's device at their request. We do not upload, keep, archive, index, or publish copies of videos, audio tracks, or images on our servers.
Private videos cannot be processed. Users are solely responsible for ensuring they have the legal right to save and reuse any content, and the tool is intended for personal, non-commercial use such as backing up your own videos or content you have permission to keep.
2. How to send a takedown notice
If you believe a public TikTok post that can be processed through ssstktok infringes your copyright, email dmca@ssstktok.com with the subject line "DMCA Notice" and include:
- Your full legal name, company or organization (if applicable), postal address, phone number, and email address.
- A clear description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
- The exact public TikTok URL(s) of the content you want blocked (for example https://www.tiktok.com/@user/video/1234567890123456789).
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
3. What happens next
We review complete notices promptly, typically within 2–5 business days. When a notice is valid, we add the reported TikTok video IDs to our internal blocklist so ssstktok will no longer resolve or process those links. Because the underlying media is hosted by TikTok, we also recommend submitting an official copyright report directly to TikTok to remove the content at the source.
4. Counter-notices
If you believe a link was blocked by mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to dmca@ssstktok.com containing your contact details, the blocked URL, a statement under penalty of perjury that the block resulted from a mistake or misidentification, and your signature.
5. Repeat or abusive requests
Submitting notices that knowingly misrepresent copyright infringement may result in legal liability. We reserve the right to ignore incomplete or abusive requests.
